Faith - Patriotic

God, Country and You

This discussion is a favorite of John's and the many audiences who have enjoyed it over the years. A highly patriotic presentation, John begins by telling the story of the pilgrimage of those from England in 1607 that later resulted in the founding of this great country.

He places a heavy emphasis on our founding father's faith in God, and he feels that this is the reason we have achieved the dream of religious freedom that everyone, including those in your audience, enjoys today.

John gives a brief history of his country, emphasizing how we have turned to God in times of crisis--and how faith in God has sustained this country for over 200 years. He covers some very important turning points in history; including updates on recent events and how faith in God has played a vital role in our country remaining as strong as it is today.

This discussion is about you, the audience; and will be tailored to each member individually. Many who have heard the discussion in the past have described this speech as "inspirational." If you are interested in the historical connection between patriotism and faith in God, then this discussion is a must for your church or organization.
